The word building has plenty of different meanings, but
the one we're going to focus on is going to be related to construction.
Building would be the process of making or constructing something like a
house.
If you were going to construct a set of stairs, you could also refer to
this process as building a stairway.
The word building can also apply to a large structure like a home,
factory, shopping mall or commercial building.
Example: If you live in a home, you live in a building.
Example: My mother went to work today and her office is located inside a
big commercial building.
