Calculator - Building And Stair Math

A calculator is a mechanical instrument used to solve complicated math equations or formulas. For example, you can use a calculator to figure out your stair rise and stair run.

A calculator is usually going to be a stair builders best friend. I built a lot of stairs and always had a calculator in my truck or access to one. Calculators can save you a lot of time and when you're building anything, including stairs.

Remember the old saying, "Time Is Money," in the construction business, a calculator could pay for itself, a lot sooner than later.

You can use a calculator to find out the diameter or radius of a circular stairway. You can use it to figure out the length of your building materials, including your stair stringers.

In other words, if you don't have a calculator and you're planning on building a lot of stairs in the future, it wouldn't be a bad idea to purchase one.
