Riser Setup of Framing Square

 

 

The Arrow in the picture above is pointing to the top of our riser height which in this case is 7.3 in decimal form and as a fraction it would be closest to 7 5/16 inches. This framing square is laid out in tenths of an inch as you can see the Arrow is pointing to 3/10, on the other side of the framing square you can see that inches are in fractions .This picture also shows the stair gauge attached to the framing square.
