Stair Building Tips
It's always a good idea to have the latter leaned up against the second
floor or the upper level were the top of the stairs will be located.
This is just in case somehow you get up to the top floor or need to get
to the top floor. In either case the latter will be extremely helpful in
building a set of stairs.
Always check the local building codes for your city or county. The
local building codes will be found at City Hall if your city has its own
building department. If you live in a rural area you might need to
locate the county building department which normally will be found under
local county government. Keep in mind some rural areas don't have
building departments.
