Curved Stairs - Construction And Building

Curved stairs would include any stairway that was rounded or curved. That makes sense doesn't it, curved stairs should actually be curved, instead of Straight, square, rectangular, parallel or perpendicular.

Curved stairs can also be referred to as circular stairs and don't need to entirely round, in order to be considered curved. Some of the stairs can be oblong, elliptical or curved at the bottom and then straighten out towards the top.

These types of stairs aren't as difficult as you might think, to build. I'm not going to suggest that they are simple to build, but once you have a basic understanding of how to build curved stairs, the rest should be a piece of cake.

Don't confuse curved or circular stairs with spiral stairs. A spiral stairway is usually a smaller stairway, leading up to a loft or small room.
