3 x 6 Handrail Problem And Poor Design
The 3 x 6 newel post shouldn't be sticking up past the top of the
handrail, instead the handrail should run over-the-top and ease into it,
to prevent purses or clothing from being snagged, causing someone to
fall and become injured.
Remember, we've got to put a little more
thought into our stairway designs or suffer the consequences, if someone
becomes injured. One of my biggest concerns was stairway construction is
safety and it should be yours also.
