Non-skid Stair Repair
Non skid stair repairs can mean a variety of different things, but most of the time they're going to be referring to the adhesive that holds the non-skid stair covering in place. Once this product becomes worn or damaged, in any way, it can create problems for the non-slip protective stair tread covering.

What Do You Do When The Non-Skid Stair Tread Pads Start To Curl And Lift Up Around The Edges?
You have two choices, you can either cut the damaged area off with a
utility knife or glue the damaged area back down. If you're going to
apply any type of adhesive, it wouldn't be a bad idea, to make sure that
you're going to use something that will actually work.
I can't make any recommendations, because I don't know what type of slip
resistant pads or tape you're using. However, you will need to make sure
that the area you're going to apply adhesive to has been cleaned and is
free of any debris.
What Should I Do When The Non-Slip Stair Tape Or Pad Has Become Worn?
Let's face it, there are few things the last forever and these definitely fall into the category, of things that will not last under certain conditions. Once they become worn, they will need to be replaced. Simply remove the old one, (easier said than done, sometimes) and replace it with another one. Some of these stair step pads aren't going to separate from the stair step, easily and will need to be removed with a scraper.
