Non-slip Adhesive Tape
Non slip adhesive tape can be used for stairway tread safety. If you live in a building that has smooth stair steps and you don't plan on installing any non slip adhesive tape, you'd better be extremely careful, walking up and down the stairs. Even if you do install a skid resistant tape, you should be careful and use caution walking up and down your stairs.
Accident Prevention And Stairway Safety
I didn't witness this event, I heard someone mention it at work one day.
A 25-year-old man who was married and had two children, was walking up
the stairs one day, at the home that his family just moved into.
He slipped and fell down the stairway and left his wife and two young
children, without a father or husband. Like I said, I just heard the
story from someone that I worked with, but it left a lasting impression
on me.
I'm not about to suggest that something like this is ever going to
happen to anyone, reading this information, but if you could actually do
something about your smooth stair steps, wouldn't you want to. I know I
would.
Sometimes, people just don't have enough information about their home
and could suffer the consequences in the future. Do yourself a favor and
try to learn as much as you can about home safety, because it could save
your life one day.
