Rubber Stair Nosing
Rubber stair nosing makes an excellent slip resistant edge to almost any stair tread. However, you need to watch these little guys, because they will loosen over time and could actually create a trip hazard. If they are sticking up, at the edge or anywhere along the nosing, they could easily grab someone's shoe and this wouldn't be a good thing, for anyone walking up or down the stairway.
Rubber Stair Nosing Tips
1. Make sure that you read and understand the manufacturers installation
instructions. Don't just understand the instructions, try to actually
follow them. Remember, these are the people who make the products and
understand almost everything about them.
2. If you think that the rubber stair nosing is going to be difficult to
install or create problems for you in the future, you should consider
using another non slip material. There are plenty of other skid
resistant building products that might work better and are easier to
install.
