Wool Stair Treads
Wool stair treads come in a variety of different sizes, shapes and colors. Wool is an extremely durable product and has been used for years, to create elegant stairway designs.

Wool Carpeting Stairway Tips
1. Most of the wool carpeting that you're going to purchase for your
stairway, can be cleaned, if they're purchased in individual mats and
can be detached from your stairway. Make sure that you always follow the
manufacturer's recommendation instructions for cleaning.
What if you can't find the manufacturers cleaning instructions? If this
is the case, you should play it safe and wash all wool carpeting treads,
in cold water and let them air dry, on a clothesline. If you use hot
water and warm air to clean your wool stair treads, you could end up
with some shrinkage.
2. If you have any stains in your wool stair treads, try to remove them
with small amounts of cold water, before using chemicals. Any excessive
rubbing could damage the carpeting.
3. There is a reason why they use wool and that's because it's more
durable than some of the other products that create stair tread mats and
carpeting. I've always been a fan of wool carpeting, because my mother
had a doormat, made out of wool.
It seem like it lasted forever, with a little signs of wear or damage
and we use to clean it with our garden hose.
