Tools - Building And Constructing Stairs
Tools are what construction workers use to cut and assemble building materials. The picture below shows a framing square, tape measure, pry bar, pencil, nail bags, chalk line and a level. There's a good chance that I don't need to explain to anyone, what a tool is. If you speak, write and comprehend English, you have to know what a tool is.
My Favorite Stair Building Tools In Order
Tape Measure: Used for measuring everything that I'm going to need to
build a stairway.
Framing Square: My framing square will provide me with a method to make
square marks that I can cut later, with my saw. It will also be
extremely beneficial for laying out my stair stringers.
Level: A level will be used to make every part of the stairs perfectly
horizontal and vertical. This will provide users with a comfortable
stairway to walk up and down, safely.
Nail Bags: If I didn't have any nail bags, I wouldn't be able to have
some of my tools, close to me at all times. Trust me, I've worked
without nail bags before and it's tough. Plan on doing a lot of walking,
combined with extra movements as you reach for your next tool.
It would be extremely difficult to build almost anything without some
type of tool. Home builders will continue to use a wide variety of them
in the future, to make their job easier and construct better buildings.
