Outdoor Non-Slip Stair Treads
Any stairway that has been built on the exterior of the building, should have some type of non-slip stair treads, attached to them. Indoor stairs won't be facing extreme climates like high temperatures, freezing, wind, rain and snow, but outdoor stairs will be right in the middle, of the battle.

There are plenty of different ways to create an
outdoor stair tread that won't be slippery and you don't need to get
created. You can use slip resistant stair pads,
adhesive tape and mats.
If you have would stairs, you can also cut small grooves into the
surface of the step, providing additional traction for the stairway
user.
Whatever you do, make sure that these stairs aren't slippery and make
darn sure, that they're not slippery when wet. Moisture is going to be
any stairway's worst enemy and it doesn't matter whether the stairs have
been built of wood, metal or concrete.
If you're building a concrete stairway, for your patio, porch or even
deck, make sure that you plan and install, some type of outdoor non slip
stair treads, on the stairway. If you don't come only would he is one
accident or injury, and you would've wished that you would have.
One of the biggest problems homebuilders, do-it-yourselfers and
contractors have been facing for years, have been poor designs. Make
sure that you take your time during the planning stages, to eliminate as
many possible safety hazards as you possibly can.
Usually by the time you've built the stairway, it's too late, to make
small inexpensive changes. For example, it's not going to cost any more
money, to install some small grooves, in a concrete stairway tread, but
it could create some problems, if you don't.
